Insights from Sensor Tower provide a closer look at how these apps performed in the fourth quarter of the year.

McDonald's saw its downloads fluctuate, starting at approximately 389K in the last week of September and peaking at over 505K in mid-December. The weekly active users of the app followed a similar trend, beginning at 4.7M and reaching a high of 5.8M in the same period.

Starbucks, another major player, experienced a decrease in downloads from 243K to 205K between late September and mid-October, before steadily climbing back to over 263K by the year's end. Weekly active users dipped from 5.5M to 4.5M in October but showed recovery in December, closing the quarter at 4.6M.

Taco Bell Fast Food & Delivery had a notable spike in downloads, with an impressive jump to approximately 790K in the first week of December. Its active users mirrored this surge, increasing from 752K to over 1.6M in the same week.

For Chick-fil-A, downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 172K to 209K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users stayed within the range of 2.1M to 2.3M, indicating a consistent user base during this period.

Finally, Domino's Pizza USA downloads saw a substantial rise in early October to 280K, followed by a decrease and eventual recovery to 191K by the end of December. Weekly active users were at their peak in early November at 2.9M, with a slight dip before ending the quarter at nearly 2.9M once again.
